Your First Dental Visit
Please plan for a 2-hour appointment to ensure we have adequate time for your comprehensive evaluation. There are two ways you might visit us for the first time: as a new patient coming for a comprehensive exam to become an established patient, or in an emergency situation where we can address your immediate concern but you'll need to return another day for your complete new patient evaluation.
During your comprehensive new patient visit, Dr. Yu will spend time collecting your medical history and various data before taking digital X-rays of your teeth and gums as well as photographs of your oral anatomy. This will allow for her to better evaluate your teeth, gums, joints, muscles, airways, and other structures. Based on her findings, she will recommend appropriate treatment options, including the type of hygiene visit required. If you visit us first for an emergency, we'll take care of your immediate needs, but you'll still need to schedule that comprehensive evaluation to establish your complete care plan and become a regular patient in our practice.
Regardless of which type of visit brings you to us first, before checking out and scheduling your next appointment, you will receive a new patient gift and a goody bag to take with you.

This cuts down on the amount of time spent in our lobby, allowing your visit to be smooth and on time.
Dental Insurance Welcome
Although we are an out-of-network, fee-for-service practice, we're happy to file insurance claims on your behalf. Depending on your specific plan, you may still receive partial coverage and reimbursement directly from your insurance company. If you have questions about your coverage or need help understanding your benefits, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to help make the process as seamless as possible.
