With more than 15 years of experience practicing dentistry, Dr. Annie Yu is a dentist near Friendship Heights who remains dedicated and passionate about building relationships and helping patients achieve healthier, more beautiful smiles. Receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2006, she completed a postgraduate residency program at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, studying with Dr. Peter Dawson of the Dawson Academy as well as individuals from the Pankey Institute.
Committed to continuing education, she has taken various courses to stay abreast of the most cutting-edge technology and techniques. She is also a member of many professional organizations and a scholar of Spear Education, the Pankey Institute, Dawson Academy, Seattle Study Club, and the Pikos Implant Institute. Dr. Yu received her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2013 as well as a Mastership in 2020. This accomplishment is designated to less than 2% of general dentists.
